Wendy's New Berry Almond Chicken Salad Review + Giveaway!!

Links provided may be from affiliate programs which help support this blog. Thanks for clicking!

Yes, that tastes as good as it looks. Review done. LOL!!

I could just say that - cause it is true! Last Friday, Wendy's invited me and my kids to come and have lunch on them. And, I wasn't the only one there - I got to see some of my other local blogger peeps  - in the flesh - it's so nice to "hang" with other bloggers in the real world instead of the "virtual" world!

We went to try the New Berry Almond Chicken Salad and the kids ate their favorite nuggets and fries and apple slices - everyone was happy! I honestly didn't know if I would like the salad, because only in recent years have I begun to add other non-traditional salad toppings to my salads. The only fruit I really have done before are mandarin oranges. But, years ago I ate a salad in a restaurant with strawberries on it, which I liked so I figured I wouldn't not like this salad.

My salad before I mixed it all up!
The Salad:  First of all, you can get it without almonds. I LOVE almonds and I love salad, just not together. So I opted to not put them on.

So, I tried the salad - with FRESH blueberries and strawberries (the freshest fruit I have seen in a long time - better than I see at the store), A Fat Free Berry Vinaigrette Dressing from T. Marzetti's, Shaved Asiago Cheese...need I say more? And yummy grilled chicken breast...the Salad was absolutely divine. Really. I had the salad on Friday and sent my hubby on Sunday to get me another one. It was THAT good.

Now tell me you don't want to run and get one right now. Cause writing this makes me want another one. Right Now. Wendy's sells the salad for $6.49, or $5.29 without the chicken. OR, you can order it in a half size for $4.49 or $3.89 without the chicken.

Now, one of you lucky MyCNYMommy readers can try this salad WITHOUT having to pay - because Wendy's gave us a $25 Gift Card to Giveaway to one Reader!

  2. Love that you can get it without walnuts, but next time I will not get the dressing they suggest. I wasn't a fan of that but loved the salad otherwise
