|Domino's New Pan Pizza|
And we have lots and lots of choices in the U.S. From brand name to mom and pop places pretty much every 1/2 mile down the road. So, it really comes down to the company behind the pizza that determines where someone will order. Price is pretty consistent no matter where you order from, so again - it's the company that helps decide.
A few years ago, it had been several years I think since I had eaten a pizza from Domino's. No particular reason why, it was just because I just went with the flow and ordered what anyone else wanted. Then, I tried their new BBQ Wings a couple years ago. They were SO SOOO much better than any I had I had ordered from other pizza chains that year.
Last year I had the opportunity to tour the Domino's headquarters in Michigan and one of their distribution centers. I got to make a pizza in their test kitchen.
Earlier this year I saw the commercials about their new bread bites, an idea that came from an employee. I ordered pizza I think that night with the new bread bites and again my taste buds were satisfied.
Last week I found out Domino's has been working on a new pan pizza for the last 3 years. It has just become available to order. They sent me some to try tonight and while I have worked with Domino's alot in the past, this pizza was Damn good. :)

Oh, and the box it comes in.. while I thought it kind of looked like a "mission impossible" kind of box, someone else said it looked "old school" or classic, much like pizza boxes of yesteryear.
All I can tell you how good it is, is to tell you that ALL 4 of my kids came back and asked for seconds. And, no one spoke while eating. For that, this pizza is priceless. :) :)
I can also state (IMO) that the people that work for Domino's, from the CEO to the people in their corporate office to the guy behind the counter at the store to the person who carries the box to your door - all really nice, courteous and friendly people. At least in my experiences with them. Like I said in the beginning, I like to support a company that continues to try and make good pizza (and the experience) even better.
The domino's pan pizza is available in medium size only (12 inches) and with two toppings is $7.99
*Disclosure: I was sent 2 pan pizzas to try from Domino's. All opinions expressed are absolutely my own.
