Get ready to bookmark this page and post to refer back to for all your summer fun! I have spent hours doing research and compiling ideas of things to do all summer long in Central New York! I originally started with a goal of 50 thngs to do but didn't stop there. There are almost 70 ideas here for you to do. There is literally something to do everyday this summer! Some events are free, others have low admission prices.  I also have been in contact with several local businesses and will be updating this list as they announce or send me specials for the summer. Enjoy the list and information and please share it with your friends! 

The ideas in the beginning are ongoing all summer long. The ideas later on are listed in calendar order. 

1.  Revolutions - Kids Bowl Free Monday Nights 4pm - close. 2 Kids per One Adult, Ages 12 and under. 2 Games Maximum, Shoes not included. Games are $2.95-$3.95/pp. Shoes are $2.95/pp.

2.  AMF Bowling (Strike & Spare in Mattydale, NY) - 3 Games a day from May 18th thru September 7th. Open to 8pm Monday thru Friday, Saturday & Sunday Open to 4pm. Buy a Pass for Kids 15 & Under for $21.95 and Adults 16 & over for $26.95. Price for pass includes the 3 games on any day in the summer period and includes the shoe rental.

Single visits $8.95 or $12.50 which includes Main Food Item plus a Side and Drink. Kids ages 8 and Under please. Summer Camp Schedule: Frozen Camp July 13-17, Pirate Camp July 20-24, Princess Camp July 27-31, Animal Camp August 3-7, Superhero Camp August 10-14 and Lego amp August 17-21. 9am - Noon Everyday. Jumpapalooza - 2 Hour Jump for $15, SkyMania (Ages 10 - 15) - 90 minutes of jump time, pizza and a fountain drink for $18, Family Fun Night (Tuesdays)- Four 60 minute jumps, large pizza and 4 fountain drinks for $59 or Four 60 minute jumps for $39; Toddler Time (Ages 4 and Under) - 60 minutes of jump time for $10 (5 session punchard for $35 or 10 session punchard for $50)

7.  Live2Bounce - Pay 1 Price, Bounce All Summer! Receive unlimited open bounce time through August 31st. Membership becomes effective immediately upon purchase! Pricing: Mobile infants-12 months: $30/child +tax, 13 months-24 months: $50/child +tax, 2 years & up: $70/child +tax. Purchase one package at full price and receive $10 off each additional package of equal or lesser value. Membership is only valid for the child it was originally purchased for. Child's picture will be placed on card. Membership may be used by any adult for the child, not just by the purchaser. (So grandma can take child as well.

8.  The Most Museum of Science & Technology - The MOST is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays starting June 30th thru September 8th. June 26th Greenlakes State Park Moonlight Hike. Join the park naturalist for a moonlight walk around the lakes at Green Lakes. Meet at the Boathouse at 8:30pm for the guided walk which will be about 3 miles. This event is FREE with park entrance fee.

June 26th - June 28th Jamesville Balloon Festival - Jamesville Beach. Free Admission. FRIDAY: 4PM-11PM, SATURDAY: 1PM-11PM, SUNDAY: 1PM-10PM. Balloon Flight Times: Friday 6-7:30PM Saturday & Sunday: 5:30AM & 6-7:30PM (weather permitting). Syracuse’s kick off to summer event features non-stop musical entertainment with national acts and top local music groups. The event also features over two dozen special shape and hot air balloons, arts & crafts fair, amusement rides, food and beverages.

July 18th - Solar Observing with Barefoot Bob. Clark Reservation State Park. 1pm - 3pm. Explore the secrets of the sun with Barefoot Bob! Bob has all the equipment needed to view the sun safely, so don't miss out on this rare opportunity to look at the sun! Remember, you only get one pair of eyes, so treat them right. This program is free with admission to the park ($4 per car on weekends). Rain date: July 19.

Juy 20-24, 27-31 - Grandparent/Chiled Fishing Days - Carpenter's Brook Fish Hatchery Repeats every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Choose either 10:00AM-12:00PM or 1:00PM-3:00PM. Advance Registration Required. This special activity offers a great opportunity for grandparents to enjoy quality time with their grandchildren, catch lunker trout and create memories for a lifetime. Rods, reels and bait provided. Volunteers will be on site to provide instruction for beginners.

August 29th FREE outdoor movie night at Green Lakes Lakeview Picnic Area. S'mores and campfire will be one hour before show time. Popcorn will be served.
If it is rainy, the movie will be moved indoors and announced that night. Please contact park at 637-6111 for indoor location. Bring bug spray, blankets, and chairs to movie nights.

Ongoing - Seneca Lake State Park Geneva, NY. Children will be delighted with the Sprayground and Playground facilities. The Sprayground is the first of its kind built in the New York State Parks system with over 100 water jets that spontaneously spray water. Neighboring the Sprayground is the playground with equipment for children ages 4-12. Sprayround Open 6/13 - 9/7, 11 AM - 6 PM, daily. Cars entrance fee is $7.

Local Farms:

Abbott Farms Baldwinsville, NY. Summer Hours - Tuesday after Memorial Day – August Monday – Saturday: 10 am – 8 pm Sunday: 11 am – 5 pm July 4th – CLOSED. Corn Maze Opens in August. On weekdays, admission is $7 per person and the maze is open from 10 am to 5 PM. We offer group rates. A group of 5-9 is $6 per person and 10 or more is $5 per person. The maze is closed one hour earlier than the store, to make sure everyone makes it out before closing.

Critz Farms Blueberry Jam August 15th 11:00am - 8:00pm. Gates open at 10:00, music starts at noon. This year’s musical line-up includes:
Boots ‘n Shorts, The Lightkeepers, Soul Risin’, Rabbit in the Rye, Root Shock. The kids will also love performances by the Songflowerman and Rich the Magic Man. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the gate. Children ages 4-11 are $3.00. Under 4 is free. Advanced sale tickets are available at the farm or online.
