This is the third in the weekly edition of Things to Do in CNY over the summer in 2015! Look for this weekly post in the middle of each week for the week ahead so you plan out all your summer fun! July 10 - July 17:

Friday July 10:

*Green Lakes State Park Night Disc Golf .  8pm.- 11pm Play disc golf course lit by glow lights and tiki torches! Meet at the Green Lakes State Park Reserve Ball Field/Disc Golf Course at 8pm. Bring your own Frisbee! Come anytime between 8pm-11pm keeping in mind that it takes about 45 minutes to play through the course. FREE

*Landmark Summer Classics Movie Series - 7:30pm. Raiders of the Lost Ark.  Tickets are $5 ($3 for Seniors) or Buy 10 for $25 to save 50% off admission prices. (Not Necessarily Kid Friendly)

*Big Don's Wild River Mini Golf: Free-key Friday Buy two activities per person and receive a third activity of equal or lesser value for free! Some limitations apply, per person and no splitting of golf rounds or activities amongst different individuals.


Saturday July 11:

The Most:  Sensory Friendly Time. 5:30-7:30PM. Lights & Sounds turned down low. $5 for non members. Members are Free.

*Green Lakes State Park:  Movie in the Park. "How to Train a Dragon 2". 8pm. At 8pm there will be a campfire and s'mores and popcorn will be served. Then at 9pm watch "How to Train Your Dragon 2" on the inflatable screen. Bring chairs, bug spray, and blankets. If rainy, contact the park office to see if the movie has been moved to an indoor location (315-637-6111). FREE

*Landmark Summer Classics Movie Series - 10:00 am. Cartoon Classics.  Tickets are $5 ($3 for Seniors) or Buy 10 for $25 to save 50% off admission prices.

* Long Branch Park. CNY Antique Truck Show 8am. $2 Admission.

*Everson Museum: Sunday Funday 2-4pm. Families are invited to drop into the Everson Art Zone on Sunday afternoons for fun, free activities, hands-on crafts, games and more led by our dedicated volunteers. Activities are for children ages 4-12 and up. There may be fees associated with this event. I will update when I have more information.

*Green Lakes State Park - Tye Dye in the Park. 10am-3pm. Bring a t-shirt, pillow case, or bandana to tie-dye at the Green Lakes State Park Nature Center anytime between 10am and 3pm with a cotton article to dye! This event is FREE with your park entrance fee. (Cars are $8)

Monday July 13:

The Most:  The Power Behind the Hero. Minoa Library. 1:30-2:15PM The MOST explains an exciting selection of superpowers from invisibility to electricity at Minoa Library, 242 N. Main St., Minoa. This 45-minute interactive show is for people of all ages and designed to encourage further scientific investigation. If you have ever wondered how your favorite superhero's powers work, then you will be amazed as you learn the science behind them.

Revolutions - Kids Bowl Free Monday Nights 4pm - close. 2 Kids per One Adult, Ages 12 and under. 2 Games Maximum, Shoes not included. Games are $2.95-$3.95/pp. Shoes are $2.95/pp.

*Movie Series sponsored by Central New York Fun Flicks at Johnson Park in Village of Liverpool. Showing "Despicable Me 2" July 7th. This is a 7 week series on Tuesdays (started June 30th, July 7, 14, 28, August 4, 18 and 25. There are rain dates (most are Thursdays of the same week). Vendors will be at each Movie from 6:30-8:30, Movie begins at Dusk. FREE.

Wednesday July 15:

The Galleries of Syracuse. 445 South Salina St Syracuse. This 45-minute interactive show is for people of all ages and designed to encourage further scientific investigation. If you have ever wondered how your favorite superhero's powers work, then you will be amazed as you learn the science behind them.

Wild Wednesdays at Beaver Lake Nature Center: 1:30PM. A new program designed for children of all ages! Explore Beaver Lake with a Naturalist and take part in wild and fun activities! Perfect for pre-school age and up, accompanied by an adult. July 15 is Bug Sweeping.

KidzClub - Open Play 12-5 PM

Big Don's Wild River Mini Golf: Wednesday is Wild Wednesday. Spend $10 and receive a spin on our prize wheel to receive free food, ice cream, beverages, activities or gift certificates. Spend $25 and get two spins on the price wheel.

Beaver Lake Nature Center - Sharing Nature with your Child. Bask in the Sun! How plants and animals use sunlight. 10:00AM - 11:30AM Preschoolers will enjoy weekly explorations of Beaver Lake. Each week brings a new opportunity for discovery through nature walks, games, and crafts. Children should be accompanied by an adult. Choose either Thursdays OR Fridays.

*Fayetteville Library:  Game Hour 2:00-3:30pm. Board games, strategy games, and maybe a few card games. Every Friday in July and August 7th.

Moms, dads and caregivers can enjoy a tour while babies enjoy the stimulating colors and shapes of the artwork in Handmade: The Art of Susan Roth. Tours will focus on a different theme each month. Afterwards, stay to eat your brown bag lunch (or feed baby) in the Everson Lounge.

Seneca Lake State Park Geneva, NY. Children will be delighted with the Sprayground and Playground facilities. The Sprayground is the first of its kind built in the New York State Parks system with over 100 water jets that spontaneously spray water. Neighboring the Sprayground is the playground with equipment for children ages 4-12. Sprayround Open 6/13 - 9/7, 11 AM - 6 PM, daily. Cars entrance fee is $7.

Local Farms:

Abbott Farms Baldwinsville, NY. Summer Hours - Tuesday after Memorial Day – August Monday – Saturday: 10 am – 8 pm Sunday: 11 am – 5 pm July 4th – CLOSED. Corn Maze Opens in August. On weekdays, admission is $7 per person and the maze is open from 10 am to 5 PM. We offer group rates. A group of 5-9 is $6 per person and 10 or more is $5 per person. The maze is closed one hour earlier than the store, to make sure everyone makes it out before closing.
